Description
Big Game Cush-it (fits all rod butts)
Fighting big gamefish puts a lot of brute force against an angler’s body. The Cush-it™ is designed to grip and bend into the body so it will protect the angler from that force. The bulbous end absorbs the shock, isolating the rod butt from the angler. It is tapered on the interior to fit and grip any size rod butt. It is UV resistant, saltwater resistant, and so light weight and comfortable! It stores easily on the bottom of any rocket launcher for quick, easy access. No more need to adjust or wear bulky fighting belts. This is a great alternative to fish fighting belts! The Cush-it (Cushit) will let you move freely around the boat. The angler can hold the rod anywhere on the body. Passing the rod off to someone else is easy, no trading belts and re-adjusting! Use your cooler as a fighting chair while sitting on the Big Game Cushit…it will give your arms a rest, and it adds tremendous leverage while using the ball of the Cush-it as a pivot point. The Cush-it also protects the boat floor and seat cushions from gouges, scratches, and rips that a bare gimbal can make. No other tool can give you the comfort and ease that the Big Game Cush-it can!
NEW! Elite Pro 2 Cush-it Balances Fishing Rods!
The Elite Pro 2 Cush-it is primarily for those fishermen that take it to the next level! This small Cush-it is perfect for balancing your fishing rod. Use small washers in the bottom of this Cush-it to add just enough weight to your rod butt so that your hand becomes the fulcrum of your fishing rod. A balanced rod feels more bites and reduces hand/arm fatigue!
All Species Cush-it (fits rod butts 3/4″ to 1 1/4″ diameter)
The All Species Cush-it is our all-around bruise stopper! It’s smaller than the Big Game Cush-it and is our number one seller! It still offers the tapered interior, however, the rod butt goes deeper into the bulbous end. It is usually a choice for smaller gamefish like musky, salmon, and catfish, but some anglers still use it for large, saltwater gamefish as well. The All Species Cush-it has all the same benefits as the Big Game except it does not store so easily on the rocket launcher.
Inshore (aka Elite Bass) and Big Bass Cush-it
The Inshore and the Big Bass Cush-its are made to cushion and float smaller fishing rods for inshore and inland fishing. They are both the exact same size on the exterior, however, the interior of the Inshore Cush-it is smaller than the Big Bass, accommodating different size fishing rod butts. These two models have the same durable qualities as the other models. Due to being made with a type of hyper-sensory material, they offer greater sensitivity for the angler to “feel” what is going on at the end of the fishing pole. These “Cush-its” provide comfort and protection from jigging and repeated, tough hook sets. One of the amazing qualities of these Cush-its is they float your fishing rod! That alone is a great reason to buy yours today!
Inshore Cush-it (a.k.a. Elite Bass Cush-it) (for rod diameters 3/4″ to 1 1/16″)
The Inshore model (aka Elite Bass) fits rods 3/4″ to 1 1/16″ in diameter and is used by several Elite Pro Fishermen!
Big Bass Cush-it (for rod diameters 1 to 1 3/8″)
The Big Bass model Cushit fits rods 1″ to 1 3/8″ in diameter
All of the Cushit models will float your rod. We have not tested every fishing rod, so we don’t guarantee it, but every rod with its appropriate Cushit that we have tried has floated. We have received story after story of favorite fishing rigs being easily retrieved from the water even after an off shore monster pulled the fishing pole off the boat and drug it down into the depths. A few minutes later, up pops the whole rig with the Cushit attached, bobbing on the surface of the water!
We’re very excited about our products! If you have any further questions please contact us. We will be glad to send you our pricing program if you are interested.

Cushits have saved my rods from sinking in the lake several times! Thanks for a great product, Mick!

You would probably sell more cushits if we did not have to guess what fits what.

Hi Rick! Thanks for the feedback and for your interest in our Cushits! As you know, there are thousands and thousands of fishing rod sizes, models, variations, etc. For this reason, we provide you a measurement range to determine what size Cushit will work with your rod. Simply measure the diameter of your rod handle and match that up with a size. For example, our Inshore (Elite Bass) model fits rods 3/4″ to 1 1/16″ in diameter. Big Bass model fits rods 1″ to 1 3/8″ in diameter. All Species fits rods 3/4″ to 1 1/4″ in diameter. Big Game models will fit any fishing rod. We are sorry this is not clear enough on our site and will get this fixed right away!

Hello, maybe in the US market the sizes shown in inches are very appropriate, but they are hardly suitable for the European market where millimeters are used. Please if you have the option to add a size in millimeters, this will make it easy for other fishermen around the world! Bravo and thank you for the products you have created!

Hello George! Thank you so much for your input! We will get on that ASAP. (:
